We’re thrilled to welcome back Ryan Leo and Roulin Feng as they continue their internships with us. Watching their growth and contributions over the past term has been incredibly rewarding, and we’re excited to build on that momentum as they take on new challenges and opportunities ahead.
Ryan is a rising sophomore at Boston University. He came from a debate and weightlifting background and previously interned at another investment bank. In his free time, he enjoys going to the gym, listening to 90s rap, and lifeguarding.
So far in his internship, Ryan has been actively tracking inbound teasers on Salesforce, built an LBO model for a proposed acquisition of a medical devices company, and helped develop a deck and white paper for the investment committee regarding a proposed acquisition of a manufacturing company valued at $50-$75M.
Ruolin’s strong foundation in economics and mathematics fuels her interest in private equity and investment management. When she’s not working with numbers, she loves traveling and experiencing new cultures.
During the past Winter/Spring internship at HW, Ruolin gained hands-on experience and supported several live deal executions. Her contributions included preparing CIMs and teasers, maintaining weekly lender list updates, and assisting with financial charting.
As their internships continue, both Ryan and Ruolin remain eager to build on their experiences and further contribute to the team’s success. Their dedication, curiosity, and growing skill sets have already made a meaningful impact, and we’re excited to see all they will accomplish in the months ahead.
