Managing Director, Los Angeles
Job Summary
Halifax West® was founded to serve lower middle market independent sponsors and middle market businesses navigating complex transactions.
Over time, our work consistently fell into two areas: buyside advisory for independent sponsors and capital solutions for private companies pursuing acquisitions or recapitalizations. Across both, we consistently saw strong businesses and attractive opportunities benefit from additional transaction leadership, particularly around structure, capitalization, and lender alignment. Independent sponsors and management teams often need experienced support on the transaction side so they can stay focused on operations, diligence, and value creation. Our role is to bring that perspective and discipline to the deal.
We are seeking a Managing Director to lead transaction structuring, strategic financing solutions, and end-to-end deal execution. This role involves evaluating new opportunities, crafting tailored capital solutions, converting prospects into long-term clients, and overseeing all aspects of transaction execution.
The Managing Director will oversee and execute transactions while mentoring senior and junior team members. The position requires an entrepreneurial, metrics-driven mindset with a focus on execution excellence and measurable revenue results. With a strong inbound volume of deal flow, this role emphasizes execution, while deal sourcing is welcome but not required.
